Resize an image to exact pixel dimensions or by percentage, with the aspect ratio locked so nothing looks stretched. Useful for social media, website banners, product photos and forms with dimension rules.
How to use
- Choose an image.
- Enter a new width or height — the other side updates automatically while the lock is on.
- Or switch to percentage, or pick a common preset.
- Choose JPG, PNG or WebP and download.
Example
A 4000×3000 photo resized to 50% becomes 2000×1500. With the lock on, typing a width of 1200 gives a height of 900, keeping the original 4:3 shape.
Pixels, aspect ratio and presets
Aspect ratio is the relationship between width and height. Keeping it locked prevents stretching. Presets such as 1080×1080 have their own ratio, so applying one to a photo with a different shape will stretch it — crop first if the platform needs an exact shape.
Making an image larger than its original can't add real detail; it only spreads the existing pixels out, so enlarged images look soft.
