Online forms often ask for a signature image of a specific size — for example a set width and height in pixels, and a maximum file size in KB. Take a photo of your signature on white paper, and this tool cleans the background, crops away the empty space and saves it at exactly the size you choose.
How to use
- Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen and take a clear photo from directly above.
- Choose the photo. Keep “Clean background” on to make the paper pure white.
- Enter the width and height your form asks for, and pick a size limit such as 20KB.
- Check the preview and download the JPG.
Example
A 3MB phone photo of a signature, with shadows and a grey table edge, becomes a crisp 300×80 pixel JPG with a white background, well under 20KB.
Tips for a clean signature
Use a black or dark blue pen and sign a little larger than usual. Photograph in daylight without flash, and avoid your own shadow falling across the paper. If the result looks too faint, the photo was probably too dark — try again near a window.
Every form has its own rules. Always check the exact pixel size, file size and format your form asks for before uploading.
Good to know
- Your signature is processed on your device and never uploaded.
- Proportions are kept: the signature is centred inside the size you choose, with white space around it.
